Wow! This is the best book on the lives of the saints that I've come across and it's in ebook form which is much more convenient than sifting through 12 books in the print form. However, I note that the "Complete Edition" apparently does not mean all saints. It apparently means all books in one volume. For instance, Gemma Galagni (April 11th) is missing but who's complaining?
Updated to include some more recent Saints and as such has nearly 1500 total in this book. Reading only confirms that man can be quite committed to one's faith and shows the best one can be, but in experiencing such enlightenment you also see how horrible those among us can be to their fellow man. The brutality endured by many leaves little to question that some possessed something greater than the many others. A well authored book with one captivating story after another. A true testament that blessed individuals do walk among us.
A must read to recall the teachings of your youth. Good examples of how and why to live holy lives. Let God's light shine through you to the rest of the world. Saints were special in the way they accomplished this. Peace be with you!
Whenever I need spiritual inspiration, I open this on my Kindle and read about a new saint I'm not familiar with. This is required for any Catholic's personal library. Great book.
What a bargain! A wealth of information about the saints whom I love and admire! In an earlier era, owning this would have be prohibited by the price!
