This was an absolutely stunning conclusion to this series. Completely captivating from start to finish.I have never read anything quite like this before and it really opened my eyes to a whole new genre.We finally find out how it all ends and to say that I couldn't wait for this book to release is an understatement, I was salivating for this book.I'm also so terribly sad that it has now ended because I am feeling a book hangover at this point.First we were left with a mother of cliffhangers in book 4 and was on pins and needles to see how Logan would react now that he had learned the truth, his behaviour at the end of book 4 ended up making me feel a little bit stabby towards him I gotta say.I expected this book to be just amazing considering the other four was great, almost like a build up each book better then the last each book as equally shocking if not more. I mean this series was just so climatic and I definitely thought that the last one was going to be an explosion of sorts.I was definitely not dissapointed in the least. Once again S.T. Abby shocked me to the core with twists and turns that I didn't see coming.A brilliant beyond brilliant series that is a must read for everyone in my opinion. Whether you like dark reads or not this one fit so many different categories from romance, to thriller, to dark. JUST SIMPLY AMAZING !!!
This is a rating for all five books in the series. I really like the first, fourth and fifth books. They kept my interest. I read them in one sitting. However books two and three it was a struggle to finish reading them. The hero and heroine spent too much time apart and the action bored me. Spoilers about the ending belowTwo things that bothered me that occurred at the end of the series. I was happy when the two secondary characters met and became a couple shortly thereafter. They both deserved to be happy. However I didn’t like that towards the end of the book that the secondary characters had threesomes and continued to do so after their marriage. It was disappointing. Also I was disappointed and a little disgusted that the heroine kept killing even after her revenge was final. I understood when she neeeded to avenge her family and for what was done to her but she continued to kill after killing everyone who caused those things to happen. She continued to do it because she got off on killing and the more pain she inflicted the happier she was. She liked it too much and killing and torturing seemed to even sexually excited her. Not cool and left a bad taste in my mouth.

And their ending was, indeed, their own twisted version of perfection.I've never said this about ANY book or book series, but I hope this one gets turned into a movie or mini-series because this rocked.The author has a way with storytelling. It all played out perfectly in my head, from the first starting words to the famous THE END. I wasn't just reading, I was right there with Lana, with Logan, with Jake and Hadley and every other character. I was happy when they were, sad when they were, and pissed the hell off when they were. This felt real, the characters felt true. I'm sad to see them go but happy they got the perfect ending.I cannot wait to read more by this author.*claps hands like an eager child*
I'm questioning my sanity right now because I feel like I should not have loved this book as much as I did. But I seriously dare anyone to read this and not be blown away.This was a dark thriller that had me on the edge of my seat. Our MC Lana was so badass. I love empowered female characters. Lana's plot for revenge was so well organized and there were so many layers to the plan that unraveled at different points of the story. Seriously this series was so well written. Lana was actually quite a likeable character. Again, here I question my sanity because I felt like I could relate to her despite her seriously twisted actions.Now beware, this book is dark and it is very graphic. If blood and gore make you queasy this book is not for you!And yes there is romance in this story! I don't read anything without romance and yes there is a HEA! I doubted our lovers would have their happy ending but the author pulled it off quite well and what an amazing epilogue!This series was absolutely amazing. So unique! It's one of these series that you stay up all night reading even though you have work in the morning. It has made it to my highest shelf of honor, the reason i read.
