This system works dramatically. It takes time, but if you follow through with it (rinse twice daily, keep up with Xylitol, keep your immune system in good shape if you have gum pockets shrinking, and monitor your personal Risk Factors for dry mouth, acidity, cross-infection from other people, etc.) you will get results. After a year of using this CWT system, my periodontal disease reversed into healthy gum tissue (pockets of 6-7mm reduced to 3-4mm after 1 year, and then 2-3mm after 1.5 years). I also initially had 3 cavities that healed themselves after 6 months, and 1 larger cavity that healed over after 8 months. My 6-month dental cleanings are now pointless as there is nothing to clean (I don't have plaque anymore), so I go just to get evaluated and enjoy the praises from my dentist -- my teeth are now perfect. My husband is also experiencing similar results -- his gums were worse than mine and he had terrible bad breath for 15+ years -- this CWT System was the only thing that stopped the bad breath, and it did more for reversing his periodontal pockets than 10+ years of 3-month periodontal cleanings. He's also reaching the point of having perfect teeth (virtually nothing to clean anymore at cleanings), but his periodontist is having trouble believing the results, so my husband goes in for 3-month evaluations and "just in case" light cleanings. We're going to shell out $300 soon and both have Oral DNA Tests done to "prove" that our mouths are perfect and free from periodontal disease. Such a relief!

I have been using Dr. Phillips' techniques for a year now and had amazing results. I am 75 years old. Before I started the system, my teeth were brittle and stained. I had two teeth crack in two and there were sharp edges where I had bone lose. My gums were tender and needed constant care. I flossed with double dental tape and scraped along my gum line with a toothpick every night. NOW my teeth are no longer stained and have a pearly white look as opposed to the bleached white look one gets from whitening. The sharp edges on my teeth have rounded off and my teeth are now hard, strong and healthy. My gums feel healthy and are healthy. I don't floss anymore because the book's techniques seem to eliminate the need for flossing. Nor do I use the toothpick around my gum lines. I still go to the dentist regularly but she has not recommended periodontal deep cleaning anymore. The reason I purchase these books is to give them to friends and family. You ought to get the book. I do not know Dr. Phillips and have no association with anyone who does.

This is the real deal. I have been using this system for about four years. Read this book carefully, follow her advice to the letter, and you really will see your cavities heal. About four years ago, my dentist told me I needed 15 fillings. Instead of getting more holes drilled in my teeth, I decided to pursue the remineralization approach, and it is working. Read Ms. Phillips' blogs too. You can find out some things that are not emphasized enough in the book, like how you are not supposed to rinse with water at any point during the teeth cleaning routine. If you are having problems with your teeth like I was, this is the answer.Another person wrote a long review describing problems with mouth sores. That problem does not appear to happen in general, so don't let that sway you.

Easy to read and understand, and the system is outstanding.I’m 65 years old and my teeth have been going to hell most of my life. In a concerted effort to stop the damage, I'd increased my flossing (once a day) and brushing (twice a day) over the past five years. I get cleanings twice a year, and spend more than I should at the dentist. I possess more fillings and crowns than most of the people I know. Now because of arthritis, my hands are not working that well, and it's become more difficult and painful to floss.I was bouncing around the Internet looking for flossing alternatives when I found references to Dr. Ellie Phillips and floss vs. mouth rinses studies.I read some of the studies then went to Dr. Ellie’s blog. I decided to commit to her treatment and prophylaxis plan. Part of my reasoning was her commitment to people having healthy teeth and I was pretty sure that my teeth couldn't do much worse. I did not have to buy the book to learn the plan, the information was free on her website. And she doesn't make a bunch of money off proprietary stuff. She has a site that sells "Zellies," but lets you know that xylitol mints and gum are available elsewhere.Bought this book (Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye) and all my rinse stuff and xylitol gum. I quit flossing the end of February 2013 because what she said makes sense to me, the studies http://www.dentistryiq.com/articles/rdh/2002/03/studies-show-listerine-at-least-as-good-as-flossing.html and http://www.jispcd.org/article.asp?issn=2231-0762;year=2011;volume=1;issue=1;spage=31;epage=35;aulast=Mythri, and I was looking for a flossing out (but I do miss the post floss feeling).I went to my first cleaning since quitting flossing on June 6th (my last cleaning was November 14, 2012). I normally get 15 minutes of ultrasound cleaning for plaque removal but received none at this visit. When I asked the hygienist why no ultrasound, she said because she found very little plaque. Said my gums were very healthy and some of my pockets had become shallower. This is my best visit to a dentist ever and I just started this regime a little over three months ago. I told her I quit flossing in February and I think she was having trouble either believing me or trying to figure how this could be. Pretty funny.Wish I would have know about this 50 years ago.
